50th Annual Copper Cannon Auction

50th Annual Copper Cannon Auction

Every child deserves a week at summer camp. Unfortunately, those who need it most are unable to afford the basic necessities much less a life changing week at Copper Cannon. Each summer, hundreds of children have a chance to experience three meals a day, learn about each other and themselves, make new and better friends, and fall asleep to a caring adult reading to them. A parent made a donation and shared “Copper Cannon truly helped - they loved their weeks at camp - something I couldn't give them myself.  It made them feel special and was the vacation I wasn’t able to take them on. I hope my small contribution helps another mom feel a little less alone.”

This year, the 50th annual auction will be a virtual silent auction and virtual live auction on March 5th. If the situation improves, we will hold a live, social distancing event in late May or early June as well. Like so many non-profits, it has been a difficult year, and we have been preparing for the summer of 2022. Children need summer camp now more than ever and those who need it most, cannot afford it. They are depending on us.
